The FACE-G acronym describes the common components of self-supporting work (i.e. medical missionary work). FACE-G stands for:
l Food
l Agriculture
l Clinical
l Educational
l Gospel
Within each category can come various activities. For example, under food, one could include: a vegetarian restaurant, catering, meals, and cooking classes.
Each component could be established on its own. For example, a family could start their own farm without also starting a restaurant. However, there is a natural synergy between all of the components. Ultimately, medical ministry work should be a united, integrated work.
