The Loma Linda chapter is the first chapter of the Medical Ministry Network (MMN). Despite the many Adventists in the Loma Linda area, there is very little self-supporting work. But...we hope to see this changed. Besides our monthly MMN meetings, we are working towards the establishment of three initial lines of work including a farm (in San Timoteo Canyon), a vegetarian restaurant (hopefully the beginning of a new franchise), and medical missionary training. Given the many Adventist healthcare professionals in the area, a regular lifestyle intervention program is also hopefully in our near future.
