The 144,000
    The 144,000 is another area in which there is some confusion. Debate exists as to whether the 144,000 are:
      1 - The only people saved at the end or just some of them.
      2 - Exactly 144,000 or a literal 144,000.
      3 - Jews or Christians.

    Once again, God has given these texts to us. That would have been purposeless if He didn't intend for us to understand them. How will we come to understand the meaning of the 144,000? By comparing Scripture with Scripture.

    But before we begin discussing the 144,000 let's read those verses that describe them. They are mentioned in two places; Revelation 7 & 14.
