Who is the Little Horn?
    From the preceeding verses we can conclude the following characteristics about the little horn power:

    • The timeframe
        - It emerges from a fractured Roman empire.1
        - It survives up until the Second Coming but then comes to an end.2
        - It has power for a "time, times and a dividing of times".3
    • Not just political but also a religious power
        - It is more powerful than the other kingdoms.4
        - It is different in some way than the other kingdoms.5
        - It does not have power of its own but uses the power of others.6
        - Its claims are so arrogant that they reach up to Heaven.7
        - It persecutes God's people.8
        - It takes away the daily sacrafice.9
    • Three kingdoms are eliminated in the process of its coming to power.10
